Karen Sedatole, MBA '89
Karen Sedatole was honored with the 2012 Greatest Potential Impact on Management Accounting Practice Award for her paper, “Drivers and Consequences of Short-Term Production Decisions: Evidence from the Auto Industry,” published in Contemporary Accounting Research (co-authored with Alexander Bruggen and Ranjani Krishhnan).
This award is sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (CMA Canada) and recognizes academic papers that are considered to most likely to have a significant impact on management accounting practice.
Sedatole is an associate professor in the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University.
