Accounting Junior Ricardo Vazquez De Lara has received a prestigious $10,000 Student Leadership Award and internship from Deloitte.

Vazquez De Lara is the president of University of Texas Student Chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). He was presented with the scholarship at the recent Hispanic Association of College and Universities conference in San Antonio.
