A team of McCombs students took second place at the 2011 Deloitte Tax Case Competition in Dallas. William and Mary finished in first and John Carroll University took third.

For their victory, each of the McCombs team members won $1,000 and earned $5,000 for the school. The team was required to write a technical memo, research issues, and deliver a presentation within a short time period.

Team members are Angie Deng, Elizabeth Broussard, Yolanda Han, Sarah Neff, and Andrew Townsell, with faculty advisor Terri Holbrook.
