On May 26, approximately 150 alumni, donors and friends of the school gathered at AT&T Headquarters in Dallas for "Access McCombs: The Business of Texas Athletics" featuring Dean Tom Gilligan and Directors of UT Athletics DeLoss Dodds and Chris Plonsky. The Access McCombs series features exclusive conversations between Gilligan and legendary corporate executives. Rad, BBA ’98, and Ashley, BBA ’03, Weaver founded the series and hosted the first event in San Antonio with Red McCombs.

This event, in particular, recognized the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter for their outstanding participation in the 2010 Best in Texas Campaign. Dallas/Ft. Worth boasted a 34% increase in giving participation over the last fiscal year.
